The overall objective of this initiative is to allow the commission/councils the opportunity to discuss the benefits of a regional coordinated approach and to prioritize the economic development initiatives for the region. The conclusion of the initial summit may allow for assigned tasks whereas staff and/or committees will work collectively on initiatives that would further enhance our regional economic development efforts.
